Description

Two suburban houses, built in the early to mid-19th century, are located on St Thomas Road in Launceston. They are constructed of incised stucco with a rag slate roof, featuring slightly projecting eaves, two rendered axial stacks and an end stack on the right-hand side. The houses follow a shallow double-depth plan and have an overall six-window frontage. The windows are original 12-pane hornless sash windows. Number 20 has a 6-panel door on its right-hand side, while Number 18 has a central 20th-century door. The interior has not been inspected. Group value is present due to their contribution to the streetscape.
