Description
The tombchest of Samuel Warne is located 2 meters to the west of the west tower of the Church of St. James in St Kew. It was created in 1779 in memory of Samuel Warne of Tregildern, who died in 1802. The tombchest is made of brick and features a slate lid that is decorated with an angel's head and an inscription in both upper and lower case lettering with serifs.
