Description

This is a chest tomb dedicated to William Were, located 1.5 yards northeast of the northeast corner of the Church of St James. It dates from the late 18th century and is made of stone set on a moulded plinth. The tomb features panelled sides with thin mouldings along the edges. The flat top has a moulded edge and recessed angle piers. This tomb is included in the register for its group value context.
