Farmbuildings Immediately North West Of Wicca Farmhouse

The farm buildings immediately northwest of Wicca Farmhouse date from the late 19th century and include stables with a hayloft above, an adjoining implement shed, and a shippon. Constructed from granite rubble with granite dressings, the buildings feature a hipped grouted scantle slate roof over the loft, while the rest of the structure has a grouted scantle slate roof with gable ends. The layout consists of a rectangular pair of stables or loose boxes with the hayloft above, the implement shed positioned at right angles in front on the left, and the shippon at right angles behind on the left. There are external steps at the right-hand end of the loft leading to a loft doorway. The two-storey stables with loft have a symmetrical front with two windows and a central doorway on the right end, which is accessed by a wide flight of stone steps leading to the hayloft doorway on the first floor. The implement shed on the left side is open to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
