Description
Liskerrit House is a town house that has been converted into an office. It was built in the mid to late 19th century and features a stucco exterior on masonry, complete with a plinth, rusticated quoins, a first-floor sill band, and sill brackets. The roof is hipped and covered with tarred slate, adorned with a modillion eaves cornice and cast-iron ogee gutters. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high with a symmetrical three-window front. The original windows are two-light hornless sashes, while the first-floor sashes have round-arched lights set under segmental heads within moulded architraves. The ground-floor sashes are flanked by pilasters that support consoles for the moulded hoods, which are framed by pediments and console friezes. The central doorway is round-arched and moulded, featuring a modillion cornice, a round-arched glazed door, and a plain fanlight. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
