4/171 Screen wall at west of Trelowarren House.

GV II

Wall and turret. Probably early-mid C19. Serpentine rubble and Serpentine dressings to doorway and embattled parapets. L-shaped plan with longer approx 100 metre section of wall orientated roughly east- west, the shorter approx 10 metre wall orientated roughly north-south, the walls linked by a taller round turret with doorway at the outside of the angle. Walls approx 2.5 metres high. The walls and turret have moulded copings to the merlons and embrasures. The doorway with 4-centred nearly round-headed doorway is segmental on plan. Arched door with 6 flush beaded panels. Circular stone with flared cross in relief set into wall over doorway. The wall at the left of the turret is artificially ruinated at the end.
