Description

The garden terrace walls and turrets on the north and east sides of Bryn Corach are constructed from rubble stone and feature a castellated design. The entrance from the drive to the house includes round turrets that rise two stories high, with the left-hand turret (east) being broader and containing a doorway and window openings. Continuing east across the front of the house, the wall extends with two additional turrets and has central brick and concrete steps. The wall then curves around the east side of the house, featuring saddle-back merlons and three more half-round turrets, leading to a gateway from the drive on the east side, which also includes turrets. Further south, the wall becomes plainer.

On the west side of the forecourt entrance, there is a plain rubble-stone wall that curves back towards the west side of the house, where two turrets are located. This section ends just north of a wing that was added in 1963 and includes a memorial plaque dedicated to Thomas Arthur Leonard, the founder of the Co-operative and Communal Holidays Fellowship. There is also a short, detached section of wall on the right side of the forecourt to the northwest of the house, which concludes with a round turret beside the house.

On the east side of the house, there is a detached high rubble-stone terrace retaining wall topped with a castellated parapet. This wall steps back on the south side, beyond the east elevation of the house, where it is battered. An unfinished return stub wall is present on the north side, which features the base of a round tower.
