Description
Tudor Cottage is a small house, likely built in the early 18th century. It is constructed from rendered and painted stone rubble and cob, topped with a rag slate roof featuring gable ends. There is a brick shaft for the projecting end stack on the right side of the building. The layout consists of a two-room and cross passage plan, with the entrance located to the left of the center. The larger room on the right serves as the hall-kitchen and is heated by the end stack, while the smaller room on the left is unheated. A 20th-century extension with a one-room plan has been added to the left end of the house.
The exterior is two stories high and has an asymmetrical front with two windows. The entrance is to the left of center and features a part-glazed door within a 20th-century open porch. To the left of the entrance is a 20th-century single-light casement window, and to the right is a 19th-century two-light casement window. On the first floor, there are two 19th-century two-light casements. The single-storey extension on the left has a 20th-century window at the front. The interior has not been inspected.
