Description
Trebreak is a house that likely dates from the 18th century. It is constructed of rendered stone rubble and cob, topped with a rag slate roof that has a gable end on the right and a hipped end on the left. There is a stone rubble end stack on the right side. The building has a two-room layout, probably with a cross passage, featuring a dairy originally on the left and a larger hall-kitchen on the right, which is heated by the end stack. A service outshut containing the dairy was added to the rear in the 19th century. The exterior is two storeys high with an asymmetrical front that has two windows. The entrance is located to the left of the centre and features a 19th-century door flanked by two 19th-century casements, with two earlier 19th-century casements on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
