Description

This is a circa early 19th century millhouse, possibly later divided into two houses. It’s constructed of rendered stone rubble and cob, with a rag slate roof and half-hipped ends. The building features a brick axial stack in the centre and a brick end stack on the right.

The original layout is uncertain, but it appears to have a single-depth plan. A circa late 19th century single-storey wing was added to the front, centered between two entrances; these may lead to passages at the rear, with the main rooms located to the right and left.

The front façade is almost symmetrical with a four-window arrangement. The main range has a three-light casement window to the left and a two-light casement to the right, with four two-light casements on the first floor. The central wing has a hipped roof, a two-light casement in the front wall, and 19th century plank doors and windows on the side walls. The interior has not been inspected.
