Service wing of former great house, later a cider house, domestic use since 1950s. Datestone inscribed: 'EC 1598'. Slatestone and other rubble; dressed granite doorway; slate roof with gable ends including gable return at rear where formerly linked to house. Single-depth plan. Part 2 storeys; low range heightened 1950s and fitted with extra window openings at that time. Central hollow-chamfered 4-centred arched granite doorway with very old planked door. Cobbled paving diagonally between this doorway and rear doorway towards left with original wooden jambs of former shouldered-headed doorway; one original chamfered single-light window. INTERIOR of cider house has enormous apple-crushing base with deep serrations.
