Description
Treworgey railings and gates, located between the clock tower and the former south-west wing, date from around 1832. They feature wrought-iron railings set on a dressed granite plinth. The gate piers are open, square in plan, and adorned with anthemion decoration on the plinth and under stepped caps, which are topped with urns. The railings consist of alternating straight and scrolled curvilinear bars, with turned finials threaded onto the straight bars.
