Description
The coach house and stables, located approximately 20 metres southeast of Tregembo Farmhouse, date from the early to mid-19th century. They feature painted rubble walls with shallow brick arches above the openings and have scantle slate roofs, hipped on the right and with a gable-ended cross wing on the left. The building consists of a long range of stables with a cart shed, and a taller coach house cross wing that projects forward on the left, which is extended by a lean-to. The structure is built into the bank at the rear. It is two storeys high, with eight doorways on the ground floor and five irregularly sized windows above, along with some pigeon holes under the eaves. The doors are ledged, and there are 20th-century windows. The interior has not been inspected. This building is part of a group of farm buildings arranged around a rectangular farmyard that is associated with Tregembo Farmhouse.
