Description

Six coffin stones are located immediately to the south of the Church of St Petroc in Bodmin. These stones were likely created in the late medieval period and are made from dressed elvan and other volcanic stone. Two of the slabs are roughly rectangular, three are trapezoidal, and one has pointed ends. All the stones feature chamfered edges, except for the one to the southeast, which has a moulded edge. Additionally, two of the stones have relief carvings that likely depict a tree-of-life.
