Description

The monument located immediately southeast of No. 19 Honey Street in Bodmin is a slender granite monolithic column, approximately 2 meters tall, with an integral chamfered capital. It is believed to date from the 15th century and was reset in the early 20th century. This monument commemorates Sir Arthur Quiller Couch, who was born on November 21, 1863, in Bodmin. The column originates from the original Priory of Bodmin.
