Description

No. 12 Honey Street is a town house with a later shop, dating from 1856 as indicated at the rear. The front features stucco likely over studwork, and the roof is a bitumen-grouted rag slate hipped design with projecting front eaves supported by widely-spaced wooden brackets. There is a cast-iron ogee gutter. The building has a double-depth plan, stands three storeys tall, and has a two-window range. The original windows are 12-pane hornless sashes. On the ground floor, there is an overlight and a six-panel door on the left, along with a recessed 20th-century shop front on the right, all beneath a fascia with a blind slot. The interior has not been inspected.
