Description
The Weavers Public House is a town house that has been converted into a public house, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of stucco on rubble, featuring moulded architraves on both the ground and first floors. The building has a steep rag slate roof with a moulded wooden eaves cornice and a brick chimney stack, which is likely rendered rubble, located on the right side. The structure has a deep plan that includes a rear wing and stands three storeys high with a symmetrical three-window front. The upper floors have early 19th-century 20-pane hornless sash windows, while the central window on the second floor is blind. On the ground floor, there is a central doorway flanked by 20th-century bowed windows. Inside, the original oak ceiling joists and exposed timber-frame partitions are notable features.
