Description
The Marshall chest tomb, located about 2 metres south-east of the transept of the Church of St Neot, dates from the late 17th century. It is made of dressed stone and features a slate lid. The lid has an earlier inscription along the border and a later inscription in the centre, commemorating John Marshall, who died in 1695, and Richard Marshall, who died in 1704. A verse is inscribed on the lid.
