Description

The Truscott monument is a headstone located in the churchyard about 9 metres southeast of the south aisle of the Church of St Dennis. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of granite and slate. The granite headstone features a cornice and swept necking leading to a central flat ball finial, with a similar ball finial on each side. An inset oval slate inscription plate has recessed spandrels and well-crafted lettering, commemorating John Truscott, who passed away in 1829.
