Description
This is a group of three headstones located 6 to 12 metres north of the north transept of the Church of St Uda in St Tudy. The headstones date from 1765, 1792, and 1794.
To the south is the headstone of Ann, the widow of Thomas Sleeman, who died in 1794. It is a rectangular slate headstone. Next to it is the headstone of Thomas Sleeman, who died in 1765, featuring a slate design with a segmental arched top.
To the north is the headstone of Philip Autridge of Polshea, who died in 1792. This is also a rectangular slate headstone, notable for its finely carved angels' heads in shallow relief at the corners, with the inscription set in a nowy-shaped panel.
