Description
Victoria Terrace is a house dating from the end of the 19th century, forming the end of a terrace of three, with a garden wall at the front. The building features stucco over rubble walls and a scantle slate roof with slightly projecting eaves, hipped to the left, and a brick chimney over the side party wall. It has a two-room double depth central stair plan and stands two storeys tall. The north-facing road front has three windows. There is a central doorway with a four-panel door and an overlight, with stucco hoods and consoles above the doorway and the flanking ground floor openings. The first-floor windows have moulded stucco architraves, and all windows have stucco sills on consoles, retaining their original 12-pane hornless sashes. The ground floor features stucco pilasters with vermiculated rustications and a console cornice, along with an incised scroll panel above. The interior has not been inspected. The garden wall at the front is made of painted, coped rubble and curves in while ramping towards the gate piers. There is a wooden gate with three cross braces over the lock rail.
