Description

House. Likely of 18th century origin, but primarily dating to the early 19th century. The construction is of painted slatestone rubble, covered by scantle slate roofs. Rendered stacks are located on the right side wall and to the left rear. Originally planned with two rooms, a double depth, plus a wing to the rear right, and incorporating a converted two-storey boathouse to the left, built into the cliff. The west front is nearly symmetrical, with two windows. It features 16-pane hornless sash windows and a central doorway with a six-panel door, a cambered brick arch, and slate sills. The interior has not been inspected, and the building is included on the list for its group value.
