Description

The Grosse chest tomb, dating from the 18th century, is located approximately 12 meters north of the Church of Saint Corentin. It features an inscribed slate slab resting on a dressed stone base and is rectangular in shape. The inscriptions commemorate Robert Grosse, who died in 1764 at the age of 82; Samuel Grosse, who died in 1790 at the age of 60; Mary, the daughter of Samuel Grosse, who died at the age of 27; and Elizabeth, the niece of Samuel Grosse, of Nanplough, and daughter of William Hendy, who died in 1824 at the age of 88.
