Footbridge situated alongside a ford. Circa early C19. Serpentine rubble and dressed granite. Two spans bridged with dressed granite slabs; wider span to north for flood water. Dressed granite corners to wide central rubble pier and to the abutments. A pleasing simple structure rather on the 'clapper bridge' principal.
