Description

The Gaussen tomb, located in the churchyard of the Church of St Mary the Virgin, is a chest tomb dedicated to the Gaussen family and dates from 1812. It is situated on the south side of the chancel aisle. The tomb is made of stone and has a trapezoid shape, featuring shallow pediments with curved fluting and acroteria.
