Description

The Old Vicarage is a house, likely with origins in the 17th century or earlier on its right side. It was significantly expanded in the 18th century and further extended in the late 19th century. The exterior is roughcast with a steep-pitched plain tile roof. The house has red brick chimney stacks from the 19th and 20th centuries. It is two storeys high, with five windows; the windows on the right are shorter and arranged unevenly, the upper one being a Yorkshire casement. The central windows are 8/8-pane sash windows. The ground-floor window on the left is a canted sash bay. A two-storey canted window bay is featured in the left gable end. The interior of the right-hand section includes a boxed-in inglenook fireplace with a staircase adjoining it. There's exposed structural timberwork dating back to the 16th or 17th century.
