Description

Loscombe House is a late 19th-century house located on Loscombe Road, near Four Lanes. It is constructed of squared killas stone with granite quoins and dressings, topped with a scantle slate roof. The house has a rectangular, double-depth plan and a symmetrical facade of three bays. A central doorway is sheltered by a five-sided wooden and glazed porch, featuring coloured margin panes in the door and window glazing, as well as a glazed roof with an apex finial. The windows are 12-pane unhorned sashes with exposed boxes. The roof is hipped with projecting eaves, and the property includes side-wall chimneys. The rear of the house and its interior were not inspected at the time of listing.
