Description
This is a barn located approximately 15 metres north-east of Little Sellan Farmhouse, dating from the 18th century and raised in height around the 19th century. It is constructed from granite rubble with granite moorstone dressings and features a grouted scantle slate roof with gabled ends. The barn has a rectangular plan with a central threshing floor, which is accessed by a large flight of stone steps at the rear. The exterior is two storeys high, with the south front displaying a small window opening on the left and a central first-floor winnowing window. The left-hand gable end includes a doorway on the left, a ventilator on the right, and the steep roofline of the original gable end above. There is an old ledged door, but the interior has not been inspected.
