Description

This headstone, located 2 meters south of the south aisle of St Winnows Church, dates from 1783 and is engraved by Rich Soby Kery. It commemorates Richard Stephens and is made of slate with a revealed rounded head. The inscription is freely rendered in serif lettering, featuring a winged angel at the top, along with the engraver's signature at the top of the headstone.
