Description

This chest tomb, dating from the 17th century, is located 1 metre to the south of the south aisle of St Winnow Church. It features a slate headstone inscribed with serif lettering that commemorates Edmund Stephens, a yeoman, and his wife Elizabeth, who died in 1717, along with their children Richard, who passed away in 1765. The tomb itself is made of granite and has a rectangular shape with a wave-moulded top.
