Description

This building, originally a house, is now divided into three cottages and includes front garden walls, gate piers, and gates. It dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century and was remodeled and extended in the 19th or early 20th century. The structure features granite rubble walls with granite dressings and a grouted scantle slate roof, which has tall rubble gable end stacks and a brick axial stack over a cross wall towards the right.

Originally, the building likely had two rooms with a cross passage leading to a rear stair tower. During the 19th or early 20th century, it was divided into three houses, and a one-room plan addition was built behind each end. The left end also includes a cartshed and workshop addition.

The exterior is two storeys high with a regular four-window south front. There is a porch with two doorways beneath the second window from the left (now blocked) and a doorway at the far right. The doors are four-panel with glazed top panels, and the windows are four-pane horned sashes, some of which have altered openings. These windows and doors likely date from the time of the conversion into three cottages. The interiors have not been inspected.
