11/83 Barn 10m to south west of Tencreek

GV II

Threshing barn, now used as milking parlour. Circa C17 with b20 concrete blockwork extension to left on north east front and C20 corrugated roof to open lean-to on front. Rubblestone with steeply pitched slate roof with gable ends. Rectangular with opposing double doors. Single storey, large entrance to left of centre with rectangular timber frame and timber shouldered arch, intact, with slightly curved feet. Projecting rubblestone piers flanking entrance. Rectangular opening to left with rectangular slit and door to right near gable end. Rubblestone steps to upper door in right hand gable end. To rear plain rectangular frame with double doors to opposing entrance. Interior with original collar rafter roof with slightly cambered collars.
