Description

No 8, known as Trenarren, is a building from the 18th or 19th century located on the north side of Alverton Road in Penzance. It is constructed from dressed granite blocks and features a slate roof with gable ends. The building has two storeys and includes three windows, which are sashes set in revealed casings with vertical glazing bars. The central door is framed by a doorcase that has a cornice supported by heavy carved consoles, and there is a narrow rectangular fanlight above the door. Trenarren is part of a group that includes Nos 7 to 14 and Stanley House.
