Description

Alverton Terrace, numbers 13 and 14, dates from the early 19th century. The buildings are constructed of granite, with a rendered first floor to number 13 and a roughcast finish to number 13. They have slate roofs with gabled ends. The buildings are low and two storeys high, featuring three wide-spaced windows with sash windows lacking glazing bars, and two doorways. Number 13 has a modern doorcase with a pediment, while number 14 has a doorcase with a cornice supported by consoles. The buildings are included on the list primarily for their contribution to the wider group value of properties, which includes numbers 7 to 14 consecutively, and Stanley House.
