Description

Redinnick House is an early to mid-19th century house built of granite ashlar. A string course runs along the facade. The roof is slate, with a wide eaves soffit. The west front has two storeys and a basement, with three window bays. A window on the first floor, to the left, has been blocked. The windows are sashes with intersecting glazing bars. The central first-floor window is set within a semi-circular head. Ground floor windows are arranged in three centred arches, each with a spandrel and moulded architrave. A central porch is constructed with Tuscan granite columns and a flat cornice. It is enclosed with narrow weather boarding and an elliptical window on the front. The doorway has a three-centred arch fanlight, a reeded doorcase, and a wide panelled door. The ground floor windows have wide sill ledges with moulded edges and rough-hewn soffits.
