Description
This boundary stone, located 100 metres northeast of Knightsmill Bridge, dates from the mid-18th century. It is made of granite and has a rectangular shape with a rounded top, featuring the inscription "C." On either side, there is a slate stone rubble wall that was rebuilt in the late 20th century. The stone marks the limit of the roadway that the County was required to maintain, as established by an Act of Parliament in 1759 for the construction and repair of roads connecting Launceston to Camelford, Wadebridge, St Columb, and Truro.
