Description

Nancherrow Farmhouse is a building dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. It is constructed from coursed granite and features slate roofs with gable ends, having a steep pitch on the left side. Originally, the farmhouse was two separate dwellings. The building has two storeys and four windows, one of which is blocked. The windows are later sashes without glazing bars, and there is a plain recessed door. The farmhouse is topped with granite chimney stacks that have cap stones. At the rear, there is a small early 18th-century wing, which includes a tall stone chimney with a later addition of a second stage.
