Description
Cobwalls is a small detached house, originally built in the 17th century and later remodeled in the late 19th century. The exterior features roughcast render on rubble and a steep slate roof that is hipped and sweeps lower to an outshut on the left side. There is a large external rendered rubble stack on the right. The house likely has a single-depth plan and stands two storeys tall, with dormered gables above the first-floor windows. It has a two-window range, featuring early 19th-century horizontal-sliding sash windows with glazing bars; however, the right-hand window on the first floor is boarded over at the time of the survey. The late 19th-century Gothic style open porch has chamfered posts and pointed-arched braces, with a 20th-century glazed door. The interior is reported to contain an unusual fireplace.
