Description
The Walkom monument is an obelisk located in the churchyard about 40 metres southeast of the south chapel of the Church of St. Mary and St. Julian. It dates from the mid-19th century and is made of granite. The monument features a battered plinth with a cornice and has a square plan with a pointed top on a moulded base, standing approximately 1.5 metres high. It commemorates Christian Lyne Walkom, who died in 1868, along with other members of the family.
