Description

Two headstones are located 3 metres south of the southeast corner of the south transept of the Church of St. Symphorian. One headstone commemorates Nicholas Wivell of Launceston parish, who died in 1780. It is made of slate and features a segmental arched head. The second headstone, to the north, honors Mary Rogers, who died in 1813. This headstone is rectangular, also made of slate, and is well engraved with upper and lower case serif lettering.
