Description

This footbridge, located 900 metres southeast of Roughtor Farm, is likely from the 19th century. It spans a stream that is a tributary of the River Allan. The bridge is constructed from granite and features a double span design typical of clapper-type bridges. It has a central pier made of roughly hewn granite blocks and large monolithic granite lintels. The bridge was previously listed twice under a different entry, which was removed on 27 June 2017. This listing also underwent a minor amendment on the same date.
