Description
This description is for a stile, gate-piers, and adjoining walls located approximately 35 metres southeast of the Church of St Credan in Sancreed. The structure dates from the early 19th century and is constructed from granite rubble with dressed granite elements. It features an iron gate and a wide gateway that includes a stepped stile on the left side, positioned between the churchyard wall on the left and a low wall on the right. The gate-piers are rectangular in shape and have segmental heads, while the low wall is topped with irregularly-coursed granite copings. The old wrought iron gate adds to the character of the entrance.
