Description

This building is a farmhouse that has been converted into a private house, likely dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed from rendered and painted stone rubble and cob, topped with a rag slate roof featuring gable ends. The house has stone rubble end stacks, with the left-hand stack projecting.

The layout consists of two rooms and a cross or through passage plan, heated by end stacks. It probably has a larger hall kitchen on the left and a parlour on the right, with additional service rooms added at the rear and on the front left.

The exterior is two storeys high with an asymmetrical two-window front. It features sash windows, some of which were partly replaced in the 20th century. There is a 20th-century gabled porch to the right of centre, with a 16-pane sash window to the right and two 4 over 8 pane sashes to the left. On the first floor, there are two 16-pane sashes. A 19th-century service outshut has been added to the front left and extended along the left-hand side, also with a rag slate roof.

Inside, there are roughly cut lintels above the open fireplaces.
