Description
The walls enclosing the kitchen garden, located about 10 metres north of Trewin House, date from the late 18th century to early 19th century. They are constructed of sandstone rubble with rubble copings. The walls enclose an area of approximately ¼ acre and slope from north to south, with heights diminishing from about 4 metres at the north end to about 2 metres at the south end. There is a plain door on the south side and double doors with a brick segmental head on the west side. The south range features stepped walls, with a pilaster at the southwest corner and additional pilasters at irregular intervals. The coping on the west and north sides is rough rubble, while the east side has slate coping.
