Description
The kitchen garden wall immediately east of Trewardreva House is a Grade II listed structure from the 18th century. It is built of brick in a random bond with brick capping, and the plinths are made of stone rubble. The outer face of the walls, along with the southwest and southeast sides, is entirely composed of stone rubble. Some sections of the wall feature rounded granite capping. On the west side, there is a gateway topped with granite ball finials, which are likely reused materials. The wall encloses a large, approximately square-shaped garden that includes a smaller walled area in the west corner next to the house. The garden slopes down to the east away from the house. It was likely originally used as a kitchen garden and orchard, but now part of it is planted as a pleasure garden near the house.
