Description
23 Tavistock Road is a mid-19th century terraced house constructed of rubblestone and slate hung. It features a slate roof with gabled ends, crested ridge tiles, a large stone stack on the left gable end, and a rendered stack on the right gable end. The house is two rooms deep and has two storeys with a regular two-window front. On the ground floor, there is a 16-pane sash window on the right with small horns and a partly glazed four-panelled door to the right, which has incised pilasters in its architrave and a moulded hood supported by brackets. The first floor has a 16-pane sash window on the left and a 12-pane sash window on the right, both with small horns. The interior has not been inspected.
