Slate roof with ridge tiles and gable ends. Gable end stacks with brick shafts. Rear wing in painted stone rubble and cob; slurried scantle slate roof with ridge tiles and gable ends; gable end stack to rear with rubble shaft. Plan: The front range is a double depth plan house, with central entrance through porch and principal room to front left and right; shallow rear service rooms. The front and rear room to left are used as a shop, probably inserted in early C19. To rear left is a 2-room plan wing, the end room heated from a gable end stack. This range may be the earliest part of the house. In circa mid C19, a garden wall with railings and gate was attached to the front of the house. Exterior: 2 storeys, symmetrical 4-window front with central 2-storey porch with granite quoins. The porch has central C20 door with sidelights, to each side a C17 granite column with moulded cap and base ; C20 glazed sides. The inner door is C19, 2-panelled with overlight. The porch was raised in height circa mid C19, with a flat roof and 6-pane sash to front ; it was probably originally an open porch. At ground floor to right two 6-pane sashes with brick segmental arches to right and left. Right side has 4-pane sash at first floor to left. Left side has C20 window at first floor to left. To left is a straight joint to the rear wing; this is 2-storey, with 16-pane sash and half-glazed door at ground floor. First floor has two 4-pane sashes with C20 window to end right and left. Interior: Not accessible.
