ST BREWARD HIGHER LANK SX 07 NE 5/205 Disused cottage 10 metres to south - east of Higher Lank Farmhouse

GV II

Farmhouse, now disused. Circa late C16 or early C17. Stone rubble. Rag slate roof with gable ends. Stone rubble end stacks with projecting stack with set offs to left. Plan: 2 room and through passage plan, heated by end stacks. Rear entrance blocked and internal partitions partly removed. Exterior: 2 storeys. Regular 3 window front. C19 2-light casements flank central plank door. 2 C19 2-light casements in gabled half dormers and central gabled half dormers with window removed. Interior: Internal partitions removed. Original fireplaces, although partly blocked, appear to be in situ.
