Description

This is a milestone located approximately 250 metres south of Hawksland Farm, dating from the mid 18th century. It is made of granite and has a square shape with a pyramidal cap. The milestone is painted white, featuring a black band at the base. It is inscribed in both upper and lower case lettering, stating: "V / MILE / TO SAINT / CLUMB."
