Description

Tregear (South) is an 18th-century farmhouse located in Ladock. The building is constructed of granite, shale rubble, and cob, with an asbestos slate roof – originally thatched. It features a two-room plan, with a central stair turret to the rear and flanking single-story outshuts. The symmetrical front facade is two stories high with three windows and a central door. The windows are 4-paned sashes. An external chimney breast is located to the left. The stair turret has a hipped roof and contains a 16-paned sash window, flanked by a 20th-century window and door in the lower outshut, and a 12-paned casement window to the right. The interior was not inspected.
